Can a student skip or switch the order in which they take the sciences?
Generally, students take (1) Biology and (2) Chemistry prior to branching into the interests of the individual student. However, if a student wants to take things in a different order, it is considered on a case-by-case basis.
Can a student take multiple science courses in a given year?
All students are given the opportunity to take one science course every year. We do not currently have the staffing allocation to allow for multiple courses in the same year on our school site - but many students take advantage of the concurrent enrollment option at the College of San Mateo if they would like to increase their science coursework.
