Welcome to the Special Education Department

As required by the Individuals with Disabilities Act, San Mateo Union High School District provides a continuum of services for students with disabilities. Programs for students with mild/moderate disabilities and full inclusion students are available at every school site within the district. Services for students with moderate/severe disabilities are provided in conjunction with the San Mateo County Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). The continuum of special education services is described on the Services page.
