Important Notice: Due to campus construction, records for students who attended Aragon High School Prior to 2008 are currently inaccessible. As a result, transcript requests and background/educational verifications cannot be processed until staff regain access to these records, anticipated at the end of July 2026. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. Summer 2026 Important Notice: Due to summer renovations, our offices may be temporarily inaccessible. As a result, I am currently working from the District Office located at 650 N. Delaware St. in San Mateo. Please note that access to student records is limited during this time. I am still able to process official transcript requests and background/educational verifications for Aragon High students; however, the records currently available are only for individuals who attended between 1995 and 2025. To request a transcript, please complete and email the Transcript Request Form. If you have any questions, please contact me at rleota@smuhsd.org . We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding during this transition. |
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) gives parents certain rights with respect to their children's education records. These rights transfer to the student when s/he reaches the age of 18 or attends a school beyond high school level.
Private Colleges: Midyear transcripts will be automatically sent through Naviance in late January for all students who applied using Common App. If you applied to the school directly, please notify your school counselor.
Courses Taken Outside of Aragon: Students who have taken community college courses must request transcripts from the college's Admissions & Records department. Aragon does not have access to any records for courses taken outside of SMUHSD.
CSU & UCs: Students DO NOT need to submit initial transcripts for CSU/UC applications. Do not send transcripts unless the colleges specifically request them from you. Please notify your school counselor if you have received a request for your transcript.
Student Athletes: For NCAA or NAIA, be sure to register with them and order transcripts through their websites.
Final Transcripts: If you will attend a four-year college in the fall after graduation, you will request a final transcript to be sent to that college in the Graduation Survey to be completed in May.
