December 4, 2022
We are officially in the last two weeks of the semester! That also means that it's time for students to get ready for their Final Exams.
To support students, we will have a number of review and study events on campus - and some stress-less suggestions to help students make it through this time period as well as possible. Students are also always welcome in the Academic Center after school for homework support until 5pm; students who would use a little more 1:1 support are welcome to check in at the Wellness Center or Counseling Center.
This Week is Review Week:
Review week is the week prior to final exams. It is predominantly reserved for review and makeup work for classes with a cumulative final exam. The week preceding final exams, there shall be no new assignments or new material introduced that would be included on the final exam. As an exception, in classes that have alternative final exams that are not cumulative, such as projects, presentations, or writing assignments, the review week may be used as appropriate to prepare students.
Homework Free Breaks:
The District requires "homework free" breaks over the following time periods:
- Thanksgiving
- Winter Recess
- Spring Recess
- Summer Vacation
Schools, departments, and teachers may choose additional homework free periods.
Check here to review the full policy at your leisure.
Snuggly Spirit Week:
In the spirit of getting comfortable for Final Exam preparations, our Leadership Class has designated this as "Snuggly Spirit Week". Please see the dress-down descriptions in the calendar below - beginning with Pajama Day tomorrow!
COVID Test Distribution:
We will have more COVID tests to distribute to students prior to Winter Break. As soon as we receive our shipment, we will work with teachers to distribute them to students.
