Mr. Andrew Hartig

 
Mr. Hartig is excited to continue with his third year as an Aragon Assistant Principal. Prior to Aragon, he taught English at Hillsdale High, where he was one of the founding members of Hillsdale's Smaller Learning Communities. In addition to teaching English, he was active in many roles and committees, including English Department Chair, Instructional Coach, Site Safety Committee, Site Staffing Committee, Facilities Committee, Site Council, and as a site representative for the teachers' union. He is also certified as an ALICE Safety Trainer and WestEd Reading Apprenticeship Facilitator.
 
Oversees:

Student Behavior Supports, Activities and Leadership Liaison, Aragon EXPO, COVID tracking, Facilities (Permits, Activities, Reservations), Master Calendar, Health Office, MTSS Tier 1, Orientation & First Day of School, School Planning-Safety, Scholarships and F/R Lunch, and CAASPP and ELPAC Testing.
